Looking to shift some pregnancy weight? Improve back and knee pain? Get out the house, meet other new mums and socialise while you work out? Then the Mother and Baby workout in Winchester is for you. Get some fresh air and get back in to your pre pregnancy jeans!
The Mother and Baby workout class will gently reintroduce you to exercise after having a baby. Classes are held outdoors at Winchester Rugby Club 5 days a week and exercises include introduction to running, circuits, hillwalking and core stability.
Bring your baby or toddler (up to 2 years old) with you. Babies stay in their buggies while you exercise, while your toddler can play with other children while supervised by our CRB checked staff.
You should have given birth at least 6 weeks ago (12 weeks if you had a cesarian) and should have the all clear from your doctor to start exercising.
In order to join this class you need:
- No exercise experience necessary
- To be free from injury
- Suitable clothing - loose comfortable clothing and trainers
- To bring a bottle of water
- The all clear from your doctor if you have recently had a baby or have any back problems or health issues
- To be willing to work hard
